Sam Cohen (Communications Leader)

Sam Cohen, is a senior at Natick High School. He is currently the Communications Leader this year on team 3737. This is his fourth year on RoboNatick, and his second year as a leader. Outside of robotics, he enjoys math and physics, and hopes to one day become a theoretical physicist. Additionally, he is a competitive gymnast in the USA Gymnastics program, and a level 10. His favorite events are pommel horse and rings.

Albert Gerovitch (Programming and Tactical Leader)

Albert is 17 years old, and a senior at Natick High School. He joined RoboNatick at the beginning of his freshman year because he enjoyed working with robots. Primarily, he is a programmer, but is also able to build. He knows several programming languages, and mostly programs in Java, which we use to program our robot. In his free time, he watches The Big Bang Theory or socializes with his Russian friends. He really enjoys robotics, and plans to major in Computer Science in college.

Sean Maule (Technical Leader)

Sean Maule is a junior at Natick High School. He joined RoboNatick as a sophomore because he was curious about how robots were designed and built. This is his first year as a Technical Leader but his second year on the team Hank's Tanks. Sean enjoys designing, building, and testing parts for the team’s robot. On most days, Sean listens to music or practices on his piano. He wishes to study chemistry or environmental science so he can someday become a scientist.

Katie Tumang (Administrative Leader)

Katie Tumang is 18 years old and is in her senior year at Natick High School. She joined RoboNatick as a freshman and has remained in the shop ever since. She became a financial leader in sophomore year. This position was later renamed to the administrative leader, and Katie has been the administrative leader of her team for the past two years. In the shop, she enjoys the sense of community shared by all three RoboNatick teams. Although the three teams are separate and occasionally compete against one another, they are constantly trading advice on the subjects of robots, classes, and the best ways to cut out a cardboard pizza plate. Outside of robotics, Katie enjoys drawing and digital art, and practices karate. She plans to study cellular and molecular biology in college, and ultimately research genetic disorders.

John Wheeler (Social Media Leader)

John “Wheels” Wheeler is 17 years old, and a senior at Natick High. He joined RoboNatick in his sophomore year and eventually found a place on the team working on the engineering notebook. This year, John is expanding onto the driving team, and is excited to participate up close to the action. Outside of robotics, John has the pleasure of leading Natick High’s Dungeons and Dragons club and being a bass in the school’s Men’s Choir ensemble. John wants to major in Robotics or Mechanical engineering in college and hopes to continue problem solving well into the future.

Makiah Bennett

On the third day of freshman year at Natick High School, Makiah steadied his resolve and marched into the robotics room, wanting to be a programmer. Three years later, he maintains his programming position, and spends his time making the robot do everything it is supposed to and just a little bit more. During the other 15 minutes of his free time, he learns more about computer science and biology. If all goes according to plan, Makiah will establish himself as the twelfth MIT biotech alumnus who is also a billionaire before age 30.

Anthony Costarelli

Anthony Costarelli is in 9th grade. This is his first year on a high school robotics team. Anthony enjoys programming and working with other programmers on the robot. Outside of school, Anthony enjoys playing and writing music.

Amy Azaria

Amy Azaria is a senior at Natick High School. This is her first year of high school robotics. Her favorite part of robotics is turning what she works on in CAD into a functioning robot! Outside of robotics, she is active in the community–she regularly volunteers, participates in the Governor's Statewide Youth Council, and is president of her youth group and French club. In college, she hopes to study biomedical engineering and either go to medical school or into neuroengineering.

Siddhant Saxena

Siddhant "Sid" Saxena, is a 14 year old freshman who joined RoboNatick in his freshman year. He found a place in Team 3737 as a builder. He enjoys working with parts to create a whole, as he was into architecture since a younger age. His interests are video games and legos. His hopes and dreams are to one day become a software engineer and help to create video games. Outside of robotics, Sid loves to play video games, do tae kwon do and create basic apps for android.

Rebeccah Johnson

Rebeccah Johnson is in her freshman year in high school. This is her first year in robotics. She loves building the robot and seeing it come to life. Outside of school, she is interested in gymnastics, drawing, reading, karate, and music. She wants to pursue some sort of science in the future.

Chris Madico

Chris is a freshman at Natick High School, age 15. In robotics, Chris constantly searches for loopholes and exploits, or in other words, finding simple solutions for complex problems. Chris has little experience in robotics, so he is currently taking his time learning as much as humanly possible. Chris has an undying passion for animals such as fish, reptilians, crustaceans, and insects, and plans on being a marine biologist in the future.

Ben Jennings

Ben Jennings is a​ ​sophomore at Natick High School. This being his second year involved in RoboNatick, he has found enjoyment in working in a team environment and 3D printing. Outside of robotics, Ben enjoys photography and ​plays​ ​three instruments. He is currently a Life Scout in Natick's Troop 1775 and is working towards earning his Eagle Scout rank.

Peter Zeqo

Peter is a 17 year old senior at Natick High School. Having joined during sophomore year, Peter has been a part of RoboNatick for three years and has been on all three teams. He is a builder but also one of the team’s drivers, controlling the movement portion of the robot. He knows programming in a couple languages, but mostly codes for fun, not for the club. Outside RoboNatick he enjoys playing D&D and games such as Rocket League and Skyrim. He plans on going to college to study computer engineering and potentially earn a job at a big company such as Google or Microsoft.

Joe Maloyan

Joseph Maloyan is an 11th grader at Natick High School. As any typical teenager, he enjoys walking his dog, spending time with friends, destroying all his adversaries in video games and riveting games of chess, and appreciating good memes. He also holds a strong interest in Math, Engineering, and Physics. He currently plans to major in electrical or computer engineering.
